Town of Mashpee Interpretive Nature Tours – Jehu Pond Conservation Area
Explore the upland forests, salt marshes, and beautiful Abigail’s Brook in this tour of Jehu Pond Conservation Area, which is a part of the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge.
Directions: From the Mashpee Rotary, take Great Neck Road South. Continue straight onto Great Oak Road. Jehu Pond Conservation area sign will be on your right. The address for the property is 357 Great Oak Road.
The Mashpee Conservation Department is continuing its schedule of free Naturalist-guided tours of Mashpee’s unique and diverse conservation areas. All ages are invited and children are encouraged to come. Many nature programs are designed for children and their families. Further information can be obtained by calling the Mashpee Conservation Department at 539-1400, ext. 8540, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Guide maps for many Conservation areas are available at the Conservation offices at the Mashpee Town Hall. Tours may be cancelled in the event of stormy weather. All tours will practice
social distancing guidelines.
