Over the winter, a Great Horned Owl has been visiting the nest at night regularly. Here’s a brief clip of the owl with its prey, some type of rodent it appears. Another clip the next day, of the same owl landing on the nest and hooting away! The owls are fun to watch, but hopefully, they will yield the nest to the ospreys when they return next month. We look forward to the return of Rachel and Carson for the 5th season of our Osprey Cam! (2-11-26)
