Town of Mashpee Interpretive Nature Tours – Santuit Woods Park Preserve
Take a hike exploring the beautiful Santuit Woods Park Preserve. The Conservation land is a mix of upland forest habitat, vernal pools, and cranberry bogs. Santuit Woods includes part of Santuit Pond and the headwaters of the Santuit River.
Directions: From the Mashpee Rotary, take Great Neck Road North. Turn right onto Route 130. Parking lot is just past the Shell station on the left.
The Mashpee Conservation Department is continuing its schedule of free Naturalist-guided tours of Mashpee’s unique and diverse conservation areas. All ages are invited and children are encouraged to come. Many nature programs are designed for children and their families. Further information can be obtained by calling the Mashpee Conservation Department at 539-1400, ext. 8540, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Guide maps for many Conservation areas are available at the Conservation offices at the Mashpee Town Hall. Tours may be cancelled in the event of stormy weather. All tours will practice
social distancing guidelines.
