Town of Mashpee Interpretive Nature Tours – Santuit Pond Preserve
Take a naturalist guided walk exploring the diverse and spectacular habitats such as vernal pools, upland forest, herring run and cranberry bog at Santuit Pond Preserve.
Directions: Santuit Pond Preserve is located on Route 130 in Mashpee. The Address is 117 Main Street (Route 130) in the Town of Mashpee. From the Mashpee Rotary, take Great Neck Road North. Turn right onto Route 130. Parking lot is just past the Shell Station.
The Mashpee Conservation Department is continuing its schedule of free Naturalist-guided tours of Mashpee’s unique and diverse conservation areas. All ages are invited and children are encouraged to come. Many nature programs are designed for children and their families. Further information can be obtained by calling the Mashpee Conservation Department at 539-1400, ext. 8540, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Guide maps for many Conservation areas are available at the Conservation offices at the Mashpee Town Hall. Tours may be cancelled in the event of stormy weather. All tours will practice
social distancing guidelines.
