AmeriCorps MLK Day of Service Event

AmeriCorps Cape Cod is hosting an MLK Day of Service event on January 15th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sturgis Charter School Community Space in downtown Hyannis. The extreme weather date is January 20th. The goal of the event is to address homelessness, as well as housing and food insecurity, on the Cape. There will be a resource fair, community lunch, donation drive, and kids activities corner.

Regarding volunteers, they are looking for 15-20 community members to assist with accepting and inventorying items for the donation drive, serving food, and registration. See the attached flyers for more information:
