The Town of Falmouth recently completed prescribed burns at the Coonamessett fields within the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge in Falmouth. Thanks to USFWS funding support, they were able to complete the burn, and we are pleased to help them get this information out to the public. The effort was a collaboration between US Fish & Wildlife Service, the Town of Falmouth Conservation and DPW departments, Mass Wildlife, Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School students, The 300 Committee Land Trust volunteers, AmeriCorps Cape Cod, and other private and public organizations.
